Move Guests around a Table into a different seat

[/vc_column_text][gem_divider margin_top=”10″ margin_bottom=”10″][vc_column_text]Once you’ve dragged your guests onto their allocated table, you may want to seat them in a certain order. You may want to seat some guests next to each other. We also know it is sometimes best to separate some people, and if you can’t put them on different tables, you can definitely seat them as far away as possible on the same table.

To do this, the table has to be fully seated.[/vc_column_text][gem_divider margin_top=”10″ margin_bottom=”10″][gem_list type=”star” color=”10″]

  • Press and hold the guest you want to move until they are highlighted.
  • Drag your guest into the position you want them to sit at.
  • The guest in that position will move to the side to make space for your other guest.
  • Repeat with all the guests around the table until you are satisfied.

Number of Guests at a Table

[/vc_column_text][gem_divider margin_top=”10″ margin_bottom=”10″][vc_column_text]You will always be able to seat your guests at any table you want to. If you have allocated more guests than available seats, you will still be able to seat the guests. The number of the total amount of guests at the table will then be highlighted in red.[/vc_column_text][gem_divider margin_top=”20″ margin_bottom=”20″][vc_column_text]

Final tips

[/vc_column_text][gem_divider margin_top=”10″ margin_bottom=”10″][vc_column_text]Seating plans will always take some time to put together. We therefore suggest enlisting help from family or friends to make this task easier. Having another set of eyes or getting feedback from someone that has good insight into the politics and going ons within a group of friends or family, could be a real asset to you. You can even allocate them guests or tables to seat, making them feel involved. A good task for the Mother of the Groom, if she feels left out. You can easily share your plan by using the collaboration tool in Table Planner.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]We hope that the above explanation is simple and straightforward, but if you have any questions or comments about using Table Planner, please do not hesitate to contact us. We’d love to hear from you.[/vc_column_text][gem_divider margin_top=”20″ margin_bottom=”20″][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row]
